I recently read a newspaper and came across an interesting piece of news. A 66-year-old lady won a marathon. Initially, I was happy to see older individuals participating in sports in India. However, as I read the whole story behind the marathon and the lady, my eyes welled up.
Many people took part in the marathon, and some were not just there to win a prize, but for this lady, it was different. The winning prize was only 5000 INR, which is around $90 CAD or USD—not a huge amount. Yet, this elderly lady decided to run, not to showcase her fitness or to compete for a prize, but for the sake of her husband's life.
This story highlights one beautiful truth: love knows no bounds, regardless of age or location.
